Mea Culpa is a horde-style boomer shooter that inverts the tropes of the genre’s badass demon-slaying protagonist by turning them into prey, a doomed coward attempting to survive in a pitch black hell of their own creation. The player’s arsenal is suited to give them snapshots of the battlefield around them, with weapons that produce light in unique ways and a guiding lamp that enables whip-like grapple movement. As players last longer, they’ll learn why they’re trapped here, and if they even have a hope of escaping.

Can ancient forms of plankton from over 10,000 years ago help us understand the future of freshwater ecology?
Sound like a scifi movie? Actually, these are the realities of real world plankton!
